third conference of archaeotourism2012
Our third conference was held in Fribourg and the Broye region on 13th and 14th October 2016. This conference addressed the issues of archaeology, tourism and landscape. This meeting offered the opportunity to professionals from various sectors to discuss common and interdisciplinary issues. This was the opportunity to rethink the valorisation of cultural heritage in the landscape so as to integrate it into the touristic practices in Switzerland.
The participation of researchers from Fribourg, Switzerland and Europe offered an opportunity for archaeologists to exchange on a subject of current research that is not yet accomplished in the field of Swiss heritage.
The interventions and especially the results of the workshops, which represent a future tool for many professionals of culture and tourism, are being written and will be published arround autumn 2017
